Commercial Lending Workstation and Integration

A U.S.-based international commercial bank sought to provide relationship managers single platform for accessing and managing client information, including new loan requests, credit, existing loan facilities, and related documents. The proposed lending workstation would integrate multiple applications and data sources into a virtual platform for central access.

Approach

A Markets Technology & Compliance consultant led team developed the workstation and integrated six databases, five existing applications, implemented a document management repository, and enabled dynamic document generation from separate business applications.

Results

The application was rolled out to 1,200 worldwide relationship managers. The browser-based application allowed users to handle multiple client needs through a single application, eliminating use of five other systems.
