Mutual Funds E-Learning Product Platform Development

A company sought to launch a series of online products supporting Mutual Funds Board of Directors. The firm partnered with Markets Technology & Compliance to build a secure product web application, a proprietary e-learning platform, and secure Board Books electronic documents delivery system.

Approach

MTC was engaged to translate product needs into a secure platform combining electronic content management (“ECM”), e-learning, and electronic document management for mutual fund board member usage. Our MTC team:

• Captured solution requirements and defined the solution architecture, and designed a professional web site for board member access

• Developed an interim web solution for content access during product development

• Developed a content management solution for maintaining daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly

  mutual fund legal and regulatory updates from industry experts

• Developed an online learning and testing platform to aid board members in maintaining industry

  knowledge and expertise as a required best practice.

• Developed a secure on-line board meeting documents and materials system enabling distributed access to large volumes of fund materials

• Maintained content, performed platform product management and supported product sales efforts

The company had a professional web presence in days, and rolled out new product feature iterations as feedback was gained from customers and interested buyers alike. The product went live and was well received by the board member community.
